Mayday Deep Space
Groundbreaking voice controlled story/game from author Daniel Wilson. The game starts with the user answering a mayday call from someone stranded on a space ship after the rest of the ship's crew members were mysteriously killed while he slept. Using only voice commands you guide the player through the ship avoiding enemies and revealing what really happened on the ship.
The interface was created to look like a worn military walkie talkie with a screen showing a map of the ship with the player and enemy locations.

Final design included analog buttons to direct the player in case the user’s voice could not be recognized.
